XIN CUISINE CHINESE RESTAURANT UNVEILS NEW SIGNATURE DISHES

Singapore, August 2017.  Prepare yourself for a culinary experience like no other as new Executive Chinese Chef, Chan Shun Wong, and his team at Xin Cuisine Chinese Restaurant present their interpretations of mouthwatering modern Cantonese cuisine. 

 Offering a curated selection of traditional favourites alongside modern offerings, our new menu strikes a balance that will please even the most discerning of diners.

 

A simple yet elegant appetiser, theStir-fried Assorted Mushrooms with White Truffle Oil (白松露油三菇) combines the beautiful textures and flavours of straw mushrooms, black mushrooms, and maitake mushrooms with just the right amount of white truffle oil to elevate this traditional stir-fry dish.

Roasted to crisp perfection, Xin's Signature Home-style Roast Duck with Tea Leaves (故乡茶皇鸭) is first smoked with aromatic Pu-Er, Chrysanthemum, and Jasmine tea leaves before roasting  to create a heavenly combination of tender meat and crispy duck skin.

A new and refreshing addition, the Deep-fried Prawns coated with Yuzu Mayonnaise (柚子虾球) provides just the right amount of light crisp batter without overpowering the juicy whole prawns that they encase. This dish is then garnished with house-made yuzu mayonnaise and fresh yuzu that will leave you wanting more.

Not to be missed is the Poached Clams, Xin Cuisine Style (故乡花蛤), served with preserved vegetables, shredded snow fungus, bamboo pith, and topped with shredded ginger and a dash of premium Chinese wine.

A match made in heaven, the Stir-fried Wagyu Beef Cubes with Black Pepper and Longan (黑椒龙眼爆和牛粒), brings forth a blend of sweetness and spice to tender Australian  wagyu beef cubes while providing a delightful  tartness from the tropical Longan fruit.

A crowd pleaser, the Poached Rice with Seafood in Superior Broth served with Crispy Rice (海皇泡贵妃米) allows you to mix grains of aromatic, crispy rice into pot of broth, resulting in a harmony of textures between the poached and crispy rice grains that soak up the irresistible superior broth amid morsels of scallops, prawns, and compoy.
