From 1 to 31 July 2018 at Xin Cuisine Chinese Restaurant, explore exquisite dishes created by Executive Chinese Chef Chan Shun Wong and his team of master chefs using Duroc D'Olives, a succulent type of pork. What makes Duroc D'Olives stand out from other types of pork is the use of olive oil in the breed's diet which results in making it's meat more tender and the use of specifically olive oil is beneficial in preventing human heart disease, resulting in dishes that bring out the very best in this meat while also being a wonderful meat option for the health conscious.
Exclusively for the month of July 2018, eight dishes will be available for the enjoyment of diners showcasing the versatility and quality of this prized meat. Highlights include dishes such as Baked Duroc Pork Rib with ‘Zhenjiang’ Vinegar, Deep-fried Duroc Pork Belly with Fermented Beancurd, Pan-fried Sliced Duroc Pork with Ginger and Scallion in ‘Sichuan’ Sauce and Sautéed Sliced Duroc Pork with Vegetable in X.O Sauce.
